A Life Update

You may have noticed I haven't really been on my blogging game for the past month or so. I mentioned in a post a little while back that I wasn't able to stick to my uploading schedule because of rehearsals so I was going to try something else, that hasn't really worked out either and I feel like I just need to give you all a bit of an explanation.
I have been putting way too much pressure on myself to stick to a schedule. My blogging girls told me to take it easy and not put pressure on but being the stubborn shit I am I wanted to try. That has not gone to plan. Everything in my personal life has amped up.

I am still getting my head around work and getting into a proper routine as the last 3 months have just been an absolute messy blur. Add to that a lingering cold that I've had for the last month and has only now decided to hit full force. I've also just got a principal role in our pantomime Aladdin so my rehearsals have upped too and in my spare time, I'm learning lines and practising. Blogging has been my last priority.

The blogger's community has been quite a toxic place recently too and that is massively unmotivating. I have been getting post ideas, seeing things on Twitter and being put off writing them. I have always been an 'I'll write about what I want' kind of blogger but it is really hard to not let the negativity affect you.

It is time for me to get back on my A-Game, without the pressure. From this post on I will be posting what I want when I want. I want blogging to be fun again and not feel like its a chore. I want to stop feeling like I have to be perfect in the communities eyes to be a good blogger. Blogmas is just around the corner and is approaching at lightning speed, plans are well underway and I am so excited for everything that is coming.

If you've made it to the end of this rambly post, you deserve a medal. Thank you so much for your support.
Much love as always,
