The Yearly Life Update

It seems this time of year I always lose my blogging mojo, this time a year ago I was writing a life update to let you all know where I’d been and what had been happening, a year later here I am telling you where I’ve been and what’s been going on. So let’s start with apologising for being the slackest blogger in creation, I hate abandoning my blog, but sometimes I need a break from it and the blogosphere.

My Perfect Tranquillity

Everyone needs a break, a mental mind refresh. For some people its a week or two somewhere hot, on a beach, sipping cocktails all day. For me my tranquil place is up in the Welsh Mountains. My parents go to Wales at least once a year as my Aunty has a cottage down there and as a child I would go all the time. As I got older I stopped going on holiday with my parents and would look after the house. This year I've been twice and honestly I could not be happier to have been back in my favourite place, its like falling in love with somewhere all over again.

More Self Love

So if you didn't already know me and the boy I spoke about in a post a little bit back broke up. I'm not getting into that simply because it was a very amicable break up and I wouldn't want him thinking I'm trying to drag him down. Something that has come from the break up is some serious self love and realisation of what I deserve, and not the sexual kind of self love for all you filthy minded buggers! I feel that loving yourself is something that can be looked down on and people can view it as quite egotistical but honestly I think we need to be shouting about loving yourself from the rooftops.

The End Of An Era...

When I started my blog back in 2015, the hardest part of starting up was thinking of a name so I thought about what I wanted to blog about. My answer there was I wanted to give you all an insight into things that were happening in my life, things I was loving. A little look at what it is like being me and so World Of Jess was born.

Old English Company Competition

For as long as I can remember I have always collected pin badges. I have tonnes and my mom does too, I guess that's where I get it from. I love finding new badges and companies that make them. So when Old English Company got in contact with me asking me to promote their competition to celebrate the launch of their new additions to their enamel pin range, I knew it was an opportunity made for me.
